About the Role
Workconnex Global Recruitment is looking for an A-Player to join our team as a Recruitment Consultant & Employer Branding Specialist. This is a multifunctional role, combining recruitment, client relationship management, and social media/branding. You will work closely with the CEO and the marketing team to grow our recruitment agency while building Workconnex’s employer brand in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Employer & Client Management
- Identify and engage new employers/clients on a daily basis.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing employers.
- Understand employer hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Advise on and sell the most appropriate recruitment solutions.
- Draft, manage, and monitor contracts between the agency and employers in compliance with Australian employment law.
- Network to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities.
Candidate Management
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates to match employer requirements.
- Manage the recruitment process through interview, offer, and placement stages.
- Negotiate pay and salary rates, finalising arrangements between clients and candidates.
- Offer CV, interview, and general career advice to candidates.
- Draft and manage contracts with candidates, ensuring legal compliance.
Employer Branding & Social Media
- Manage all Workconnex social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Create and post engaging weekly content to strengthen the company’s employer brand and attract top talent.
- Design visuals, videos, and infographics to increase engagement and reach.
- Analyze social media performance and report metrics such as engagement, followers, and lead generation.
Business Development & Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the CEO and marketing team on campaigns to increase brand awareness.
- Support marketing initiatives that promote Workconnex as an employer of choice.
- Track KPIs related to new employers, candidate placements, and social media performance.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare weekly reports on recruitment, client activity, candidates, and social media performance.
- Ensure all recruitment and contract processes comply with Australian employment law and company policy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and recruitment compliance.
- Strong track record in sales, networking, and client/business development.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial business acumen.
- Ability to assess client needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating content (copywriting, visuals, videos).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to overcome objections, be persistent, and maintain a winning mentality.
- Highly organized, proactive, creative, and results-driven.
